I am very happy to receive the Dotty Nicholas Sickle Cell Scholarship. I truly appreciate every bit of financial help I can get to contribute to the funding of my education. I promise to work very hard to maintain the required standard for success.

I know that frequent admissions to the hospital can be a barrier to success, but with financial help like the Dotty Nicholas Sickle Cell Scholarship, I won’t have to do extra jobs to finance my tuition. I will submit the necessary reports to qualify for another scholarship in 2017.

Bridget will be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences at McMaster University in September 2016.
