“He answered and said, Lo I see four men loosed, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the son of God” – Daniel 3:25

He was there being tied with the three,

But never revealed Himself until their faith He could see.

It’s in the midst of the fire that His work is done

The flames are quenched, Four walking, now free.

The astonished king rose to see,

He questioned his men, ”How can this be?”

“The fourth man, who is he?

His form is like the Son of God

Walking with the three, alive and free.”

Their coats were not burnt, Neither the hair of their head singed.

The smell of fire did not pass on their skin.

The God of Daniel sets His servants free

What testimony I have today

To strengthen my faith and allay my fears,

His promise to be in the fire with me

Is a sure covenant of peace

He made on the tree.
