HEALTH AND WELLNESS DAY HELD AT THE GLOBAL KINGDOM MINISTRY 1250 MARKHAM ROAD

The Dotty Nicholas Sickle Cell Scholarship Fund Association in partnership with the Global Kingdom Ministry held a powerful information health forum on February 2th, to celebrate Black History Month.
The Theme of the day was " HEALTH IS WEALTH".
With Sickle Cell Disease at the top of the list ,many other health issues that affect our ethnic community were addressed .
There were speakers, and presenters addressing Diabetes, Hypertension, Prostate Cancer,Nutrition and Exercise,Breast Cancer, Mental Health and Addiction, and Mental Health and COVID-19.
The day was filled with lots of other health related activities ,such as blood pressure monitoring, massage therapy , giveaways, prizes and surprises.

Dotty Nicholas, President of the DNSCSFA believes a healthy community is a wealthy community. Knowledge is power, and the more knowledge we have on these health issues ,the better healthy outcomes we will experience.

Who are we?

The Dotty Nicholas Sickle Cell Scholarship Fund Association is a registered Not-For-Profit benevolent organisation , owned and operated in Ontario Canada by Dotty Nicholas. The organization seeks to assist young people with sickle cell disease by sponsoring their higher education programs at local tertiary institutions in Canada.
